Bashir Abubakar Audu, A Purdue-Educated Professional

Bashir Abubakar Audu

Bashir Audu is a Purdue University-educated civil engineer living in Dallas, Texas. Most recently, Bashir Audu served as an assistant project manager for The Walsh Group, where he worked on a major bridge and highway project on the I-35E that runs through Dallas. The $1 billion project took three years and required project management, scheduling, financing, and engineering skills to complete.

Before his role at The Walsh Group, Audu served as a project-controls engineer with IEA Renewable Energy, Inc. In this capacity, he helped build the Osage Wind Farm in Oklahoma and Green Pastures Wind Farm in Texas.

Bashir Audu is also a member of the Construction Management Association of America and is in the process of gaining his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. In his free time, he enjoys sports, including following Purdue’s basketball team, and learning languages - he is fluent in five.
